Equipment: Tracy is playing her great grandfather’s Maybell tenor banjo with a Lakota Leathers strap.
Tim is playing an S. E. Shires Company AZ trumpet.
Recorded with a Zoom H1 microphone
And of course, featuring the one and only Desca: Presto music stand.
P.S. It was 41F and Tracy was very cold.
FIRST INSTRUMENT, FIRST STAND
Our niece, Kaiyah, is learning her first instrument and we are so proud! She didn’t have a music stand, but luckily we are able to get her started out with a Desca: Presto and Fholder. We were rewarded with a concert and adorable promo photos.
DESCA IN THE WILD
One of our favorite things is seeing our stands ‘out in the wild’. Yesterday, we listened to some mountain dulcimer music at the ABQ Main Library. Scott and Irma Reeder (http://scottandirmamusic.com/) performed along with a group of Irma’s students. We counted five Prestos being used! We especially loved Megan’s festive set up. Send us pictures of your gigs or tag us @descamusic on Instagram!
Wishing you all the best. Keep in touch and keep moving forward.
